Trust, safety and privacy

Trust is a boundary system, not a badge.

Huddle designs for adult responsibility, consent, data minimisation, explainable relevance, reporting and separation between family and institutional visibility.

01 · Trust in operation

Trust in operation

A trustworthy interface needs accountable people and response processes behind it.

Future operation requires clear ownership for identity, privacy requests, safeguarding, reporting, blocking, provider facts, marketplace disputes, security incidents and AI-related concerns. Each route needs intake, triage, response expectations, escalation and a correction or appeal path where appropriate.

A report button or verified badge cannot substitute for staffed operations. Huddle should publish an operating capability only when the responsible role, queue, procedure and review record actually exist.

02 · Separated visibility

Separated visibility

Family context, institutional learning and commercial data require different boundaries.

Families should control the context they choose to use for discovery and preparation. Organisations receive only the information needed for the selected interaction. Municipal learning is limited to governed aggregate patterns, and commercial actors do not receive the household context used to explain relevance.

These are design commitments under specialist and legal validation. They are not a safety certification, guarantee, approved DPIA or proof that production controls are already operating.

03 · Status and concerns

Status and concerns

Design commitments must remain distinct from operating capabilities that already exist.

The public site may explain intended principles and controls, but it should label whether each capability is verified, prototyped, planned or still under research. A control is operational only when ownership, staffing, procedure and review evidence exist.

Questions about privacy, accessibility or project conduct should use the relevant contact route. Huddle is not an emergency, health, child-protection or statutory reporting service; urgent matters belong with the authorised local service.
